Rodrigo Arenas

Rodrigo Arenas Betancur, Colombian sculptor born on October 23, 1919 in El Uvital, rural area of the town of Fredonia, Antioquia. He died in 1995. One of the most famous sculptors of Colombia and Latin. Many of his works are public monuments.He was one of Colombia's most prolific artists and appreciated nationally and internationally. His bronzes are characterized by giant, melodramatic and spectacular are found in cities across the length and breadth of Colombia.
